A south suburban police officer has been fired after the shooting death of a family dog that has outraged a small community.
In Illinois, a police officer shot a dog, killing it, and was fired.
In Missouri, Darren Wilson shot and murdered an unarmed Black boy headed to college as he (Mike Brown) tried to surrender and plead for his life. Wilson was allowed/encouraged to scrub his social media presence & flee the state, is currently on PAID administrative leave.
So what we have here is A DOG’S LIFE is considered more important than a human beings, The killing of a dog is treated more seriously than the killing of a human being.
Darren Wilson shot Mike Brown to death as the unarmed boy begged for his life, refused to allow a bystander to perform CPR when she asked to be allowed to, and abandoned him there on pavement for hours. And people are hailing him as a hero and raising thousands of dollars for him.
I can’t get over that. A dog’s death is more of a concern than a human being’s death.

I’ve heard this about a lot of things, but I don’t think it’s been more true than as it relates to the events unfolding in Ferguson, MO.
